Dmitri Rusov-Morningstar provides professional residential design services in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sonoma County and Northern California.  The extent of his professional services varies with each new project.  At his initial meeting, prior to signing a contract, he provides prospective clients with a printed list of his fees and an explanation of the services they can expect for those fees.

• Study of the scope of the project
• Meetings with my clients in order to fully understand their likes and  dislikes
• Series of design proposals and sketches reviewed and revised according to my client's choices until a satisfactory design is approved
• Meetings with necessary consultants, such as engineers and building officials
• Preliminary set of drawings for client approval
• Specification of all materials used during construction, as requested
• Permit-ready set of drawings

• Written format separate from the drawings but of equal or greater legal importance listing materials used in the project as well as the manufacturer's credentials and requirements for the materials specified
• Part of the construction administration, which includes a listing of the design/construction team, their contracts, and the logistics required for keeping the project on time and within budget

• Contracting the builder
• Construction specifications 
• Processing change orders, transmittals, and other incidentals that occur during construction
• Weekly meetings with the builder and inspection of work completed and in progress
• Overseeing scheduling of subcontractors to assure a smooth flow of work on the project
• Any other necessary functions onsite needing attention on behalf of the client
